I use my Hotsync cradle as a desktop stand all day at work and it functions fairly well. It also helps that I use The Bridge, so I don't have to take my Pilot out of the case. I do like their addition of the pen holder (although I'd like it big enough to house my Rotring pen). Maybe they should have produced a stand like they have, but one that actually fits over the cradle... that way you have the best of both worlds.

I can't tell from the picture but can you still use the AC cord while the unit is in the PDA stand? I have a Cassiopeia E-105. Thanks

Alton

You'd have to be out of your mind to pay $34 for this 1950s piece of plastic. I think Michael ought to patent his idea of incorporating the cradle into a cool desk stand!

Alton,
You can't use the AC adapter while the Casio E-100/105 is in this stand.

The pictures they have posted are very poor and don't do it justice, I purchased the Aluminum one and is looks great with my palm vx. I also purchased the dark burl for a gift and it looks like wood, not something from the 1950s.

IMHO it's too much money for nothing special.

But be aware ... leaving your Palm in the cradle can cause battery drain when the cradle is connected to your pc.
If you convert your cradle (cutting one of the cables) battery drain will stop.

I personally am very happy with my GoType keyboard. I use this as a deskstand for my Palm.
